Hi there, fellow programmer!
Hello, I’m Kristof, a human being like you, and an easy to work with, friendly guy.
I've been a programmer, a consultant, CIO in startups, head of software development in government, and built two software companies.
Some days I’m coding Golang in the guts of a system and other days I'm wearing a suit to help clients with their DevOps practices.
Project owners and contacts from different firms often come to me asking, "Kristof, I want to hire a few full-time employees for a project; I know you don't go full-time, but don't you happen to know programmers who are looking for a job change?"
I can often recommend a developer with the right skill-set, and I'm happy to help out both the project and the programmer I happen to know.
This is even independent of your experience -- everybody deserves work that's challenging and interesting at their current skill level; and while some projects do need demigod über-wizards, most jobs actually don't.
If you want me to have your resume handy the next time someone asks me if I know someone to hire, just send me your CV. Then, as time and space permits, we should sit down for a coffee or a chat somewhere, so we get to know each other a little better.
