Kristof Kovacs

Software architect, consultant

The man with the debugger

Hi, I'm Kristof, a human being like you, and an easy to work with, friendly guy. I believe that computers are the coolest thing since sliced bread.

Being a software architect means being a business analyst and a software developer in one. Some days I'm focusing on product strategy, and other days I'm coding down in the guts of the system. For recreation, I practice Iaido, japanese sword art, so you can have an actual samurai on call... :)

I use mostly Golang, JavaScript and the occasional PHP to craft scalable, high-performance web applications nowadays; but I used to work a lot with C/C++, Assembly, Java, even TCL and Erlang.

I do consulting, I co-own a 1M€-turnover software development company, and I sometimes invest in startups.

Here is my résumé, a list of my open source contributions, and a high-level overview of my consulting services. Drop me a line below, I love getting messages!
